Eyelash Extensions are individual strands of synthetic fibers made to replicate a natural eyelash. When applied, eyelash extensions lengthen and thicken your own natural eyelashes. The single strands are applied to each individual eyelash, one by one. With proper application, lash extensions look and feel completely natural.

When applied by one of our artists, eyelash extensions will last the length of the natural growth cycle of your own eyelashes. Depending on your activity and day-to-day routine, refills should only be required every 2 to 4 weeks.

Eyecandy only uses professional grade adhesive which never comes in contact with your skin. Synthetic eyelashes adhere about 1mm away from your skin therefore it is close to no harm at all when you apply eyelash extensions.

Our eyelash extensions are designed to give your natural lashes an improved look of fullness so mascara is unnecessary. Applying mascara to your eyelash extensions will ruin them as they will never be able to return to the fluffy state anymore, and touch up will be refused for eyelash extensions with mascara on.

We do ask you to minimize the chance of wetting the extensions for the first 24 hours of wear. After that 24-hour period, the adhesive used to apply your eyelash extensions is secure enough to allow you to get right back to your routine. However, extensive contact with steam such as in saunas, hotpot, hot yoga or certain facials is not recommended since it can risk to loosen the bond between the natural lashes and the extensions.

The suggested time frame is 24 hours. For a guest with sensitivities, it is suggested to wash within the first 12 hours of application.

• Avoid getting lashes wet for the first 24 hours

• Avoid hot steam, hot yoga, sauna or swimming for the first week

• Do not apply mascara or manually curl the lashes.

• Wash your lashes and brush them with a clean mascara wand daily.

Currently, the FDA is not regulating eyelash extensions because the eyelash extensions are applied to the natural eyelash hairs and do not touch the skin. The application process is pain-free. Some clients consider the process relaxing and even sleep through the appointment.

The application process of eyelash extensions normally takes about 60-90 minutes for a full set, and 45-60 minutes for a refill. You will lay comfortably on a massage table with your eyes closed while relaxing ambient music is played in the background. 

Your technician will consult with you to understand what type of style you are interested in and what look will work best with your natural lashes. The overall look of the lashes can range from very natural to very voluminous! Refer to our Service Menu for more info!

• Remove any eye makeup before the appointment. Make sure to remove any leftover mascara on your lashes.

• Lashes should not be permed or manually curled at the time of appointment.

• Do not consume any caffeinated drink before your appointment to avoid your eyes twitching which makes them harder to work with.

We do offer a service to have the extensions removed involving a short 20 minute appointment in which we apply a gel remover on the extensions and allowed to sit for 10 minutes. Once the adhesive is dissolved the extensions will be gently removed and an eye bath will be given.
